Club Info
The Badminton Club of the District of Columbia started on
3 court in
St. Albans
by Clay Norment, back in the early 1970s. Records show (Don Primo)
that the club has been in existence from at least 1947.
The club still plays in the same facility, but has been using other
facilities as the need for play has grown.
Current playing times: Thursdays from 7.30pm - 9.30pm and
Sundays from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (please call or e-mail
to verify time of play).
on the 3 court
(with no waiting!) facility in the
Activities Building at St. Albans (entrance
off Garfield St, near the corner with Massachusets Av).
