• mentors College Park Scholars Science, Discovery, & the Universe sophomores in completing their capstone projects. Students work over two semesters to complete a hands-on observational research project at the UMD Observatory.
• coordinates activities at the UM Astronomy Observatory including overseeing the public Open Houses on the 5th and 20th of each month.
• serves as the Department's outreach coordinator overseeing its MD Day.
• serves as webmaster for the PDS Small Bodies Node.
